Jack Fox’s insurance career began more than 35 years ago, when he worked as an insurance adjuster, while attending college. After graduation, Jack was hired by John Deere & Co. as a financial services representative and honed his skills in various positions including: Producer, Claims Adjuster and Loss Control Representative. During his tenure at John Deere, his sales skills propelled him to Director of Planning and Product Development for the Southeast and Manager of National Sales.
In 1988, Jack joined MAG Mutual as the Director of Sales. In addition, he has held officer positions in marketing, MAG Mutual Insurance Agency (MMIA), Property & Casualty Operations, and also served as the Chief Underwriting Officer.
Jack formed Select Professional Underwriters, LLC in 1999 in partnership with MAG Mutual to assist the company in its expansion plans in the Southeast and has overseen its successful growth. As President and CEO of SPU, Jack oversees 21 agencies in five states, with 36 producers generating $10M in revenue and $85M in premiums last year.
Jack earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor, (CIC) and holds membership in Professional Insurance Agents of Georgia.
